Set up a new support member

With WhatsApp Chat Widget for Shopify, you can add multiple support members to make sure there will be always someone ready for your customers’ queries.

In WhatsApp Chat Widget > Accounts, you can easily add new, edit, or delete members.

To set up a new support agent to your WhatsApp accounts list, follow these steps:

  1. Upload avatar: This individual profile picture will be used in the WhatsApp button and also the WhatsApp widget.

  2. Fill in the account name: This member name will be shown on the WhatsApp widget.

  3. Fill WhatsApp phone number, WhatsApp group invite link, or WhatsApp Business short link. If it is phone number, please don't use space or special characters like "-" or "()".

Fill in WhatsApp phone number in the international format, including (+) sign.

Eg: +2349157885979

You can also use WhatsApp Group Invite link to let the customers join chat, or use WhatsApp Business message link.

4. Member’s title: This member title will be shown on the WhatsApp widget.

5. Availability: You can toggle it in accordance with the agent’s online/offline status and additional notice.

Then click Create Account or Update to finish the profile creation.
