Custom availability

How to set up working hours for your WhatsApp support agents

This is a premium-only feature to allow you to customize the agent's working hours and the notice when they are offline.

To achieve this, you need to go to WhatsApp Chat Widget > Accounts > then edit an account or add a new account and continue the settings here.

Availability

If you toggle ON the option for Always available online, then the WhatsApp contact will always appear to be online.

In case your staff has a duty roster or your office has specific working hours, you can add custom availability to streamline the workflow.

Business hours

Add your business days, hours, and multiple shifts.

Unavailable Notice

  • Description text on working day: Display custom text on the day you'll be working but not yet available. Use [sgwa_time_work] shortcode to automatically show the remaining time so that your customers know how much longer they have to wait.

  • Description text on day-off: Display custom text on the day you're off from work.
