Custom options are created through Shopify's Checkout API. Therefore, it may reflect some changes in your sales channel reports dashboard.
Here are what to expect in your Orders details.
Sales of products without custom options are recorded as "from Online Store."
Those orders which include products with EXPO options come through as “EXPO – Extra Product Options (via import)."
Depending on your theme and store conditions, this order may not reflect in any sales channel or in analytics.
Similarly, Google Analytics may not correctly track sales as the order does not go through the checkout of the website itself, but through the Checkout API. You can learn more on this topic at Shopify discussion: Orders not appearing in analytics.
