How to sort and reorder option items in the list

PreviousCustomizeNextCustomize option types

Last updated 2 years ago

With Extra Product Options app, you can sort the option items all the way you want. This helps the custom product options display in the right order on front-end pages.

In a single option set (i.e. Gift Box), you can:

  • Add new option: Add unlimited options with separate conditional logics and additional pricing/description.

  • Drag and drop option: Move the option up/down while preserving its inner content and settings.

  • Duplicate: Make a copy of the custom option including its type, name, conditional logics, and additional pricing/description.

  • Remove: Delete the option item including its inner content and settings.

Drag and drop, duplicate, delete option items

Note

Conditional display rules work regardless of the options’ relative positions to one another.

Re-ordering an option leaves it intact. Meaning all of its content and settings stay the same regardless of its position on the product page, including:

  • Option type

  • Option name

  • Name on Cart

  • Conditional logics

  • Option values

  • Additional pricing and description
